Inhoud / Omschrijving
In this practical course, groups of a few students design and conduct a small-scale empirical study that includes the design and evaluation of a computational model. Each research step is prepared and presented in class, where after it is written in a research proposal report. Close attention is paid to the embedding of the research into existing literature, the rational of the research and consistency of argumentation, the formulation of research questions and hypotheses, the design of a proper methodology, the interpretation of results and future research suggestions.
