You can find an overview of the various electronic databases on the university library website (http://www.ru.nl/ubn). These databases cover many scientific disciplines and are listed in alphabetical order. A few examples:
- Business Source Complete: full text articles in business economics and management as well as references to and summaries of full text articles, along with 25,000 e-books and reports.
- EconLIT: references to economic literature.
- LexisNexis: Complete fulltext articles from a number of national and international newspapers.
- Osiris: a database with business information from all enterprises world-wide
- Scopus: a multidisciplinary search system with descriptions and abstracts of articles from 15,000 scientific journals, conference reports and Internet sources selected according to quality standards. The emphasis is on the exact, biomedical and social sciences.
- TohmsonOne.com and Datastream: databases with financial-economic information
- Web of Science contains references to international journal articles in all scientific disciplines.
- World Development Indicators Online: development indicators of the World Bank.
- Zephyr: database with information on mergers and takeovers
Electronic journals
- An alphabetical summary of journals that are available in electronic form. Searches can be conducted for a specific periodical or for periodicals in a scientific area.
- From the results of the search system, it is often possible to go to an article from an electronic journal using the SFX button
Documents in repositories
- NARCIS provides access to 510,452 publications, including 202,070 open access publications, 13,843 data sets and information about researchers (expertise), research projects and research institutions in the Netherlands.Radboud Repository with publications of staff of Radboud University; the complete electronic text is included wherever possible.
