Lab rotations

To get hands-on research experience in the various research labs of the Donders Graduate School for Cognitive Neuroscience and/or its affiliated research centres, Max Planck Institute, Behavioural Science Institute, Center for Language Studies.

On the Blackboard site of this course you will find a section in which documents can be viewed/downloaded that advertise a lab visit, in the form of a project proposal. Each project proposal describes among others, a short background description, tasks to be performed during the visit and period of the visit. You can contact the relevant person for more information on a project proposal. A single lab visit corresponds to a time investment of 28 hours (i.e., 1 EC) and is finished with writing a two page summary of the visit. The summary is graded pass/fail by the on-site supervisor. To qualify for the credits of this course, three passed summaries need to be submitted to the coordinator of this course. Note that you need to visit three different labs in order to get the credits.

For this course there are no teaching methods specified. For more information or questions, Dr. Arno Koning has office hours for this course each Tuesday (12:45-13:30); an appointment is required.
