- The student will acquire knowledge about the prime number theorem.
- The student will acquire knowledge about Dirichlets theorem on primes in an arithmetic progression.
- The student will acquire knowledge about Brun's theorem on twin primes.
- The student will make the world a better place by spreading knowledge.

Contents (Beschrijving)
This course will mainly discuss the implementation of analysis (such as Complex functions theory) on problems that are connected to the partition of prime numbers. After completing the course, the students will have experienced some of the most important methods in analitical number theory, and they will have acquired knowledge about fundamental outcomes in mathematics. They will then be able to find their way independently though the corresponding literature.
