Objectives (Doelstelling)
The course gives an overview of the function and structure of brain regions and circuitries involved in the processing of cognition, emotion and motion.

Contents (Inhoud / Omschrijving)
The students will get an introduction into the human neuroanatomy by means of both lectures and practicals. The practical work involves macroscopic dissection of brains of humans and of brains of rats. Slices of rat brains will be used in the microscopy practice sessions. This course will be followed by an exam.
