Teaching methods
Besides two introductory lectures, there are 8 seminars (2 hours per week). In these seminars, students will be expected to participate actively and contribute by way of writing weekly essays, giving an oral presentation by participating in so-called role plays, in which they are required to prepare either the view of applicant/defendant or advisor in a given case. A minimum number of 15 (active) participants (Dutch students together with foreign exchange students) is required. If not, it may be decided that the course will be offered in a different form.
